Our logo depicts a Charro on horseback, proudly carrying three Banderas in the hand they extend to greet others—a gesture of friendship, respect, and unity.
The Charro represents the heart of Mexico’s National Sport, Charrería—a tradition deeply rooted in the humble origins of ranch workers who gathered to share stories, showcase their skills, and celebrate their culture. Contrary to popular belief, soccer is not the national sport of Mexico. Instead, Charrería embodies the values of camaraderie, pride, and heritage, making it a perfect symbol for our brand.
We chose the Charro because they are more than skilled horsemen—they are true gentlemen and loyal friends. Every handshake comes from the heart, with sincerity and a willingness to be of service to others. We believe that everyone who enjoys our artisanal agave spirit can find a connection to these values and see a reflection of themselves in the spirit of the Charro.
Alongside the Charros, the Escaramuza Charras bring their grace and discipline to the sport, performing intricate, choreographed routines on horseback set to music. Together, they elevate Charrería into a thrilling celebration of unity and tradition.

Our Name
Our name, 1000 Banderas, embodies the essence of our logo, colors, cultures, values, emotions, and spirit. It represents the infinite connections that unite us, transcending borders, traditions, and experiences.
In philosophy, there’s an idea that each aspect of our lives creates its own unique world or reality. Who we are with our families may differ from who we are with our friends, or when both worlds collide in shared moments. These distinct realities—our worlds of family, friendship, emotions, values, sports, and countless others—coexist, shaping the full spectrum of our lives.
Every one of these worlds has its own story, its own flag (Bandera), representing the experiences, emotions, and connections that define it.

When creating our company and designing our bottles, we focused on more than just our logo—we wanted every detail to represent the essence of who we are. One of the most meaningful aspects of our identity is the colors on our labels, which are deeply tied to our heritage, values, and home.
1000 Banderas was born in Laredo, Texas—a city that sits at the crossroads of two nations, Mexico and the United States. Our label and company colors—Green, Red, and Blue—tell the story of this unique connection:
- Green and Red represent the pride and heritage of the Mexican flag.
- Red and Blue honor the unity and spirit of the American flag.
- Red alone signifies the great state of Texas, our home and the bridge between both nations.
Each color also carries a deeper meaning that reflects the values shared by the cultures woven into the heart of 1000 Banderas. These colors embody the spirit of our company and our agave spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who shares it.
- Blue represents peace, responsibility, intellect, trust, loyalty, and class—values that guide everything we do.
- Red symbolizes passion, energy, and love—the same passion our jimadores pour into harvesting and nurturing our agave plants. It also represents the rich red clay soil of Jalisco, where our agave plants are grown and aged to perfection.
- Green represents honesty, growth, nature, and the foundation of our company: our agave plants. These plants are cultivated for years in the red clay soil, harvested by skilled hands, and transformed into our exceptional tequila.
